The Animal Insider
In the Fall of 2005, Animal Outreach launched The Animal Insider, a quarterly publication highlighting animal-related news and events in the State of Ohio with an emphasis on Franklin and surrounding counties.
As part of our Education and Awareness program, The Animal Insider strives to be the comprehensive resource for Central Ohio pet owners. Each issue features informative articles, animals for adoption, an events calendar, and spotlights a local animal welfare agency or animal-related community program. It is our goal to improve the lives of animals by educating the public on pet-related issues, improving animal care and stewardship, and increasing public awareness of local animal welfare organizations.
The Animal Insider is the only known publication of its kind in Central Ohio.
The Animal Insider is available free of charge at all 22 branches of the Columbus Metropolitan Library. It is also available at select stores, through other organizations and community events. Animal Outreach also maintains a private list of subscribers who receive copies in the mail free of charge.
